Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges and find paths toward healing and growth. My approach is rooted in understanding, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others make meaningful changes in their lives.

I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I received comprehensive training in mental health and clinical social work. Since becoming a licensed clinical social worker, I’ve continued to refine my skills and stay current with new therapeutic approaches and techniques.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, community mental health centers, private practice, and nonprofit organizations. This diverse experience has allowed me to work with people from many different walks of life, each with their own unique challenges, hopes, and dreams.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in treating individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and life transitions. My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), which I tailor to each person’s needs. These approaches are practical and goal-oriented, and I use them to help clients identify and reframe negative thinking patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and create actionable solutions to their challenges.

I also have significant experience working with individuals facing chronic stress, relationship difficulties, and self-esteem challenges. In addition, I work with families, helping them improve communication, navigate conflicts, and strengthen their relationships. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their feelings, identify their goals, and work toward building healthier, more fulfilling connections with themselves and others.

What you can expect from me

I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey, and I work closely with my clients to understand their unique experiences. I see therapy not as a one-size-fits-all approach, but as a personalized process that recognizes the inherent strengths each person possesses. Together, we’ll explore what’s working in your life and what needs to change, with the goal of empowering you to lead a more balanced and fulfilled life.

If you are re ready to begin or continue your path toward healing, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
