Great to meet you!

It’s great to meet you. I’m a licensed clinical psychologist, and my goal is to create a warm, steady, and nonjudgmental space where you can be fully yourself. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to make meaningful changes. Together, we’ll slow things down and make sense of what you’re going through, so you don’t have to carry it all alone. I’ll listen closely to your story, help you name your emotions and patterns, and work with you to set goals that feel realistic and aligned with what you value. My hope is that you leave sessions feeling understood, more grounded, and increasingly confident in your ability to navigate life’s challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and insight-oriented. I pay close attention to your emotions because they often highlight important patterns, triggers, and unmet needs. Together, we’ll explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected, and we’ll identify the beliefs and habits that may be keeping you stuck. From there, we’ll practice concrete skills to help you cope in the moment, communicate more effectively, and make choices that support your well-being. I also focus on identifying your strengths, sources of resiliency, and existing supports, so therapy isn’t just about what’s hard, but also about what’s working. I tailor what we do to your unique background, pace, and preferences, so you feel respected and actively involved in your own healing.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, you can expect a thoughtful, curious, and caring partner in your growth. In the beginning, we’ll take a deep dive into understanding you: your history, current stressors, relationships, and what you hope to get out of therapy. I’ll ask questions to clarify your experiences, invite your honest feedback, and check in regularly about what feels helpful or not. Sessions with me are structured but flexible—we might process recent events, explore long-standing patterns, or practice new coping strategies, depending on what you need that day. You can expect clear communication, gentle but honest reflections, and practical tools you can use between sessions. My commitment is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and supported as you move toward the changes you want.
