Great to meet you!

I received my PhD from Texas Tech in 2024, where I did a lot of research spanning substance use, suicide, trauma, and neurological concerns. I completed both my internship (2024) and postdoctoral (2025) trainings at Joint Base Lewis-McChord where I supported active duty service members, veterans, and dependents. There, I developed experience working with adults facing demanding careers and environments. My work also included adults who may be facing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, burnout, head injuries, major life changes, or challenges that don't fit into a neat category. I enjoy meeting with people from a wide range of backgrounds. Whatever brings you to therapy, my goal is to understand what is happening and work with you to find a way forward that fits your life. Together, we identify what's getting in the way to develop practical, evidence-based ways to address it.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in research, but therapy is more than that and isn't something someone does TO you. I know the science; you know yourself. We must use both to figure out what is most likely to help, and what you're actually willing or able to do. The best workouts are the ones you'll actually use.

What you can expect from me

If you're considering therapy, you've probably already been pushing through on your own for quite some time. You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Reaching out can be difficult, especially when you're used to being the person who handles things. If you're unsure whether this is right for you, we can start there. We can talk about what's bringing you in, make sense of it, and figure out what would actually be useful.
