Jeffrey Goodell

Jeffrey brings almost 40 years of experience, working as a counselor, teacher, and coach, first starting in schools to now opening his own private practice. Jeffrey is deeply committed to the emotional and personal growth of each of his individual clients. Having worked with clients throughout the spectrum of life, from ages 3 through the twilight of life, he values the diversity of struggles and strengths that clients bring to the work of therapy through their unique life experiences.

Jeffrey's approach to therapy is emotion-focused with an ecological perspective. He considers the full extent of each individual's life and the transactions that take place between the individual and their environment.

Across the spectrum of age and challenges, Jeffrey will help clients to develop a growth mindset and create a personal vision. It is important to him that sessions are tailored to the individual needs of each person to provide the support, respect, and trust needed to address difficult and challenging issues in our lives and to move beyond issues that can leave us stuck.
