Great to meet you!

Heartbreak, loss, trauma, stress, mental health challenges, and the pressures of school are not just areas I specialize in—they are chapters of my own story that shaped who I am and inspired my path as a therapist. Having persevered through life's hardest seasons, I am passionate about helping others heal, rediscover their strength, and achieve lasting peace. If you're stuck in a pattern that keeps pulling you back — whether that's addiction, OCD, trauma, or an eating disorder that's taken over more of your life than you'd like — you don't have to keep managing it alone. I'm an LCSW and LCADC with more than 10 years of experience working with adolescents and adults across New Jersey. My dual licensure in both mental health and addiction counseling means I can work with the full picture of what you're carrying, not just one piece of it. I offer telehealth sessions throughout the state, so wherever you are, support is within reach.

My approach to therapy

Every person I work with brings a different history, different goals, and a different way of processing, so the approach changes based on you. I draw from Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Focused CBT, choosing what fits the work we're doing together. Motivational Interviewing helps us explore ambivalence without pressure, which is especially useful when change feels complicated or the timing doesn't feel right. I believe therapy doesn't have to feel stiff or clinical all the time—sometimes a little sarcasm, humor, or calling out life's absurdity can make the hard conversations feel a little less heavy. Sessions are collaborative, practical, and built around where you actually are, not where you think you should be.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for both of us to get oriented. We'll talk about what's bringing you in, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping to get out of the process. I'll ask questions to understand your background, your strengths, and your goals. You don't need to have a clear picture before we start. By the end of our first conversation, we'll have a starting point and a sense of the direction we're heading.
