I specialize in anxiety, depression, alcohol/addiction and OCD. I see adolescents/adults of all ages, starting at age 14. Besides being a Licensed Professional Counselor I am also a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and work with those who are struggling with substance use as well.
I believe the most important part of the counseling process is the therapeutic relationship between therapist and client. In order to foster this relationship, I provide a nonjudgmental space and guide the client in identifying changes that allow for individual growth. I use a variety of different approaches and tailor it to best fit the client's needs.
Clients will leave my sessions feeling heard, empowered and hopeful for the future. Clients will leave each session having identified small changes they can work on that will ultimately lead to bigger changes and the life they want to lead.
