Great to meet you!

You may be used to handling everything on your own, but that doesn’t mean you have to keep carrying it alone. I help adults work through anxiety, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions, with particular experience supporting first responders, veterans, and people who are accustomed to being strong for others. My style is warm, direct, and practical—I’ll listen without judgment, offer honest feedback, and help you build tools you can use in everyday life. I’m trained in EMDR, CBT, and trauma-focused approaches, and my goal is to help you understand what is keeping you stuck, feel more in control, and move forward with confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, straightforward, and collaborative. I believe therapy should be more than simply talking about problems, so we’ll work together to understand what is driving your stress, anxiety, trauma responses, or relationship difficulties and identify practical ways to create change. I draw from EMDR, CBT, trauma-focused therapy, and other evidence-based approaches while tailoring treatment to your individual needs, personality, and goals. You can expect me to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, provide honest feedback, and help you develop skills and insight that carry over into your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is focused on helping you feel comfortable, understood, and clear about what you want to change. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been most difficult lately, what has or hasn’t helped in the past, and what you would like life to look like moving forward. You won’t be pressured to share more than you’re ready for, and I’ll answer questions and explain how we can approach the concerns that matter most to you. By the end of the session, my goal is for you to feel heard, have a clearer sense of direction, and know what our next steps will be.
