Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m a board certified, doctorally prepared psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. My goal is to help you feel heard and supported as we work together on your mental health journey. I believe in a holistic, welcoming approach and want to create a safe space for you to share your thoughts and feelings. Let’s explore your unique needs and find the best path forward together.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work with my clients to create a treatment plan that is individualized to each person. No copy/paste here. Although prescribing medications is my speciality, my goal is to use medications as needed to help you in your current situation. Long term, I would love for no one to need medications, but some people need them due to their genetics or current environment/situation.

What you can expect from our first session

The first session is usually a lot of information gathering to help me determine how I can best help you. Afterwards, we continue meeting at regularly scheduled intervals that both of us agree on. Each person's case is unique so I don't like to throw out blanket statements/treatment plans. I like to review multiple areas of life during each appointment including your physical wellbeing. I have a judgement free / safe space approach- no shame around your thoughts and feelings.
