Great to meet you!

I have over 33 years of counseling experience and have worked in a variety of settings including acute hospitalization, residential treatment, community mental health, agency services and private practice. I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma therapy, infant mental health, grief work, ADHD treatment and child and adolescent treatment. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults and parents.

My approach to therapy

As a cognitive behavioral therapist, I strive to help clients develop and practice new coping and problem-solving skills to better manage their mood and improve functioning in daily life. The process starts with an assessment followed by the cooperative development of short and long term goals to address the findings of the assessment and the stated needs of the client. We then work together to explore how the client is functioning in various settings and ways to improve the quality of life.

What you can expect from me

As a client, you should expect to be able to develop skills to better manage depression, anxiety, anger and stress.
