Great to meet you!

I provide straightforward, real-world therapy designed for young adults navigating the ups and downs of everyday life. Whether you’re managing stress, facing change or transition, or working through anxiety, our sessions focus on helping you process what’s happening week to week in a way that feels practical and relevant. My style is grounded, compassionate, and collaborative—I listen actively, meet you where you are, and offer timely insight and guidance to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

My approach to therapy

I am trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), ACT and Motivational Interviewing—evidence-based approaches that guide the way I help clients create meaningful change. These methods are particularly effective for individuals struggling with obsessive or intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, restlessness, overthinking, low mood or depression, mood disorders, and higher-acuity concerns. I bring a calm, supportive, and goal-oriented presence to each session, helping clients gain insight, build effective coping tools, and move toward a greater sense of stability and confidence.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about beginning our partnership. I see it as a time for us to start getting to know one another and to lay the foundation for the work ahead. I’ll be curious about you—not just the challenges that brought you to therapy, but also the person sitting in front of me. I want to hear about what led you to decide that now is the right time to reach out. I’ll ask questions to get a sense of how you feel when life is going well, and how things feel different when you’re in a difficult moment. Understanding that contrast helps me learn about your strengths and where you feel most yourself, as well as what gets in the way. The first session isn’t about rushing to solutions. It’s about starting a thoughtful conversation and creating a safe space where you feel heard and understood. My goal is for you to leave that first meeting feeling that you’ve been genuinely listened to and that we’re beginning a collaborative process—one we’ll shape together as we move forward.
