Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Jeff. I'm a dual board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, practicing since 2017. My background includes more than six years in addiction medicine and earlier years on the front lines of emergency healthcare, which shapes how I work. I understand the demands, culture, and toll of high-stress, high-responsibility roles firsthand. I provide telehealth psychiatric care for adults (18+) across New Jersey, with a special focus on first responders and healthcare professionals navigating mental health challenges. I commonly help with anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder (maintenance), and sleep issues, and I have particular expertise in addiction treatment, especially opioid use disorder, including medication-assisted treatment for recovery. My practice centers on psychiatric medication management.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and clear. My care centers on psychiatric medication management, and each visit includes supportive discussion to make sure you feel heard and involved in your treatment. I draw on evidence-based approaches to help you work toward your goals, and care is always tailored to you. For clients in recovery, I take an individualized approach to medication support, including treatment for opioid use disorder. I don't provide full-length, standalone talk therapy, but I'm glad to coordinate with your existing therapist or provide a referral when deeper or more frequent therapy would be helpful. Many clients do best with medication management and therapy together.

What you can expect from me

At your first visit, we'll complete a thorough evaluation, review your history and goals, and discuss your options together. I'll explain how medication may help, what to expect, and how we'll monitor your progress over time. A diagnosis isn't always made at the first visit. My priority is to listen, understand, and begin building a plan that feels safe and realistic for you. If addiction treatment is part of your care, we'll talk through how medication-assisted recovery works and build a plan that fits your life.
