Great to meet you!
My name is Jema and I am the founder and lead therapist of KimJe Counseling & Consulting, where I integrate over 15 years of experience in mental health, leadership development, and organizational consulting to empower individuals and institutions toward healing and growth. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) specializing in trauma-informed care, and I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)—a powerful, evidence-based therapy for treating trauma, anxiety, and emotional distress. I am especially known for my ability to create safe, transformative spaces where my clients can explore their stories, process pain, and reclaim their peace. I can help you work through grief, loss, divorce, addiction, abuse, and issues related to past and current trauma. I hold a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Amberton University, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado–Denver, and a Bachelor’s in Law Enforcement Administration from the University of Oklahoma. I am a Certified Grief Educator. I am also the author of Reflections: What I Know to Be True, a 30-day devotional rooted in personal faith and resilience.
