Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, and sexual abuse. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia, and have experience across community mental health, nonprofit, and private practice settings.

My approach to therapy

My counseling approach is based on each individual’s needs and goals. I believe in creating a safe place for you to express yourself authentically and be truly understood. I view counseling as a collaborative process and believe that you are the expert on your own experience. I am dedicated to providing non-judgmental and compassionate counseling, where you can explore both the pleasant and unpleasant parts of life and make long-lasting changes that lead to a more fulfilling life. My goal is to help you develop a healthier sense of self, cultivate healthy relationships and improve your overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding what’s bringing you in. You don’t have to have everything figured out—we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We’ll begin exploring your goals and what you’d like to get out of therapy, and start identifying practical ways to support you moving forward. My aim is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction.
