Great to meet you!

Hi There! Im Jen, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through some of life’s most challenging moments. My work has included mental health, foster care, school systems, crisis stabilization, and trauma-focused treatment.

My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe you are the expert in your life, and my role is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can explore what is happening beneath the surface and identify what you need to feel more grounded and empowered.

My goal is for you to leave therapy feeling more understood, more capable, and more connected to yourself. Thus being better able to build resilience through life's challenges.

My approach to therapy

I have specialized training in EMDR, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care, and I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches depending on your individual needs and goals. I particularly enjoy working with people who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, disconnected, or frustrated with patterns they find themselves in and may understand intellectually but have difficulty changing.

Sometimes we simply need a safe place to slow down, understand ourselves differently, and develop new ways of responding to the things life has asked us to carry.

I would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey to enhance your mental health.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will start building rapport and review assessment information to explore your treatment goals. We will also explore how often and when the best time to meet is.
