Great to meet you!

Most people don’t talk about how hard it is to keep going when you’re exhausted.

Many of the people I work with are used to holding a lot together on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed inside. They may struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, relationship stress, trauma, or the emotional weight of managing a chronic illness.

I offer both individual and couples or relationship therapy via telehealth in Colorado. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver (2013) and have been practicing since 2016. I’m also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) with extensive experience supporting people living with type 1 diabetes, HIV, and other chronic health conditions.

As a queer therapist, I also provide an affirming, identity‐aware space for LGBTQ+ clients and relationships. Whether you’re seeking individual support or hoping to strengthen your relationship, my goal is always to help you feel understood, supported, and not alone in what you’re carrying.

My approach to therapy

My approach is calm, collaborative, and direct. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as a foundation to help you understand your internal world with more clarity and compassion, reconnect with your values, and take meaningful steps toward the life you want. For trauma work, I’m trained in EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).

With couples and relationships, I work to help partners understand the deeper emotional patterns that keep them stuck. Together, we slow things down, uncover the needs and fears beneath conflict, and rebuild connection and trust.

I also bring an affirming, anti‐oppressive lens to therapy. Whether we’re exploring your identity, chronic illness, stress patterns, or relationship dynamics, I work with curiosity and steadiness, helping you move toward genuine, sustainable change rather than just coping day‐to‐day.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to slow down, get to know one another, and begin making sense of what’s been feeling heavy or overwhelming. I’ll ask questions about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been navigating, and what you hope to shift. If you’re coming in as a couple or relationship, I’ll help each of you share your perspective and begin identifying the patterns that have been creating distance or conflict. You won’t be expected to have everything figured out; we’ll take it at your pace.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of how we might work together, what feels most important to focus on, and what support can look like moving forward. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and a little less alone.
