Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Jen, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who specializes in working with students navigating life transitions, anxiety, stress, and the challenges that often come with change. I understand that periods of transition can feel overwhelming, and I am passionate about helping individuals develop the tools, confidence, and resilience needed to move through these experiences successfully.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is person-centered and strengths-based. I believe that building a trusting, collaborative relationship is the foundation of effective therapy, so I take time to get to know each client and understand their unique experiences, goals, and strengths. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy, tailoring my approach to best meet each client's needs.

What you can expect from me

In our first few sessions, you can expect us to spend time getting to know one another and building a comfortable therapeutic relationship. I work at your pace and strive to create a supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the counseling process.

One aspect that makes my practice unique is my extensive experience working with students from a wide range of backgrounds. I value creating an inclusive and culturally responsive space where clients feel understood and supported.
