Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Jena. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Washington, D.C. I earned my Master's of Social Work from The Ohio State University, where I specialized in trauma-informed care. My training and experience have equipped me to provide compassionate, evidence-based support to individuals navigating complex challenges, with an emphasis on resilience, healing, and empowerment.

My approach to therapy

As a clinical social worker, I provide individual psychotherapy using a person-in-environment framework. I believe an individual’s interconnected systems and environment significantly shape their experiences and overall well-being. My approach emphasizes strengths-based practice, encouraging individuals to draw upon their existing resilience and resources to foster growth, healing, and positive change!

What you can expect from me

I provide an inclusive and safe space that fosters healing and self-discovery. I view therapy as a creative process, where we can work together to build tools for you to cultivate a more satisfying and joyful life! My goal is to support clients in developing the freedom and courage to make choices that align with their values and honor their needs.
