Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults focusing on school avoidance and anxiety, as well as mood, behavioral, and anxiety disorders. My unique combination of experience as an experienced teacher, clinical therapist, and learning behavior specialist provides me with a deep knowledge of how to individualize treatment. I work with individuals aged 7-24 and enjoy collaborating with parents and schools to ensure that the therapeutic work carries home, and school.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am trained and confident in Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavior, Play, and Exposure Response Therapy. I specialize in School Anxiety/Avoidance as well as mood and anxiety disorders. I also specialize in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety around chronic health conditions such as diabetes.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to feel heard, validated, empowered, and educated. I love to bring humor, kindness, and realism into my sessions with children and adolescents. It is important for them to have a say and choice in their actions with realistic and wholesome guidance!
