Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm JeNae. Since '92 I have been empowering adolescents and adults alike. I earned a Sociology degree from the University of Utah and went on to receive a master's in mental health counseling from the University of Phoenix in 2004, solidifying my commitment to helping others navigating life's twists. With seven years in the substance use field, and a fervent belief in holistic care, mind, body, spirit, I became a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional.

My approach to therapy

Building trust in the relationship is essential, so we will start there. I am open and love to use humor as part of the process. I believe that you are the expert in your life and I am just here to guide you on your journey of self discovery on the way to healing. I use different approaches such as CBT, DBT, and Mind Body Bridging.

What you can expect from me

After building a trusting relationship, the next most helpful thing to do is to ensure you will have the skills to manage any distress you have been experiencing, or will experience, as you go on this healing journey. You and I will set the goals you would like to achieve together. In addition, I will be available between sessions, for support, if you feel like you are unable to manage your distress on your own.
