Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m Jenaiah Sauceda, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from San Francisco State University, and I have extensive experience working with diverse populations in various settings. My specialties include anxiety, depression, women's issues, LGBTQ+ issues, and relationship issues. I utilize a client-centered approach, adapting evidence-based practices to meet each individual’s needs. I believe in fostering a supportive and collaborative environment, empowering clients to achieve their personal goals and cultivate resilience throughout their journey. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!

My approach to therapy

In my therapy practice, I adopt a warm and collaborative approach, creating a safe space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves. I utilize evidence-based techniques, incorporating cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies to help clients better understand their thoughts and emotions. My focus areas include anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship dynamics, allowing me to tailor my approach to meet individual needs. I believe in a strength-based perspective, helping clients recognize their inherent resilience while guiding them toward practical tools for coping and growth. Together, we’ll work to identify goals and develop a personalized roadmap for your journey.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a warm and welcoming environment where they can openly share their thoughts and feelings. We’ll start with an initial assessment to discuss your background, the challenges you’re facing, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. My goal for this session is to build rapport and gain a clearer understanding of your unique situation. Together, we may identify initial goals, such as enhancing coping skills or improving self-awareness. By the end of our time together, you should feel a sense of clarity about the path ahead and confidence that you're in a supportive space to begin your journey toward healing.
