Great to meet you!

I aspire to always approach our meetings as a compassionate and down-to-earth therapist. My background includes a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and I graduated with a group of amazing and dynamic women from Spelman College. Also with my work in community mental health, I have had the chance to support individuals online and in person when navigating OCD, addiction recovery, and major life transitions. My approach is grounded in mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy—always tailored to meet each person's unique needs. I especially enjoy working with millennials and young adults, creating a safe, supportive space to explore challenges, build confidence, and move toward lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I draw from several approaches to support you in creating meaningful change. Here’s how I integrate each into our work together:

Utilizing CBT helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns—like self-doubt, catastrophizing, or perfectionism—and work to reframe them into more realistic, supportive beliefs.

Combining ACT teaches you how to sit with difficult emotions and thoughts without letting them control your actions and I incorporate simple, practical mindfulness tools to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and respond to challenges more intentionally.

What you can expect from me

Sometimes, you don’t need to dive into your entire life story—you just need help figuring out your next step. I work well with adults who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, and identity exploration. If you're looking for a safe, supportive space to grow, you're in the right place.
