I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia and a Healing-Centered Engagement Practitioner trained through The Flourish Agenda in California. I am passionate about helping clients build self-confidence and self-worth while making sense of life’s complexities. I have been serving clients as as mental health professional for five years in private practice, group counseling settings and experience in emergency services.
I integrate approaches from solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through EMDRIA.
Within our first session, you can expect an introduction to how I do therapy and keep you safe. You can expect to talk about you. Additionally, you can expect a provider who is empathetic and compassionate who listens well and helps you navigate where life has taken you.
