Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who takes a person‐centered, collaborative approach to therapy. I work with children, teens, and adults, supporting anyone navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. My style is warm, steady, and down‐to‐earth—I meet people exactly where they are and help them build insight, confidence, and practical skills that fit real life. I believe therapy works best when you feel understood, supported, and empowered, and I strive to create a space where you can show up fully as yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person‐centered, collaborative, and grounded in trauma‐informed care. I work with children, teens, and adults, and I tailor treatment to each person’s needs, strengths, and lived experiences. I focus on building a safe, supportive relationship where clients feel understood, empowered, and able to show up exactly as they are.

I integrate evidence‐based strategies with a warm, down‐to‐earth style — and yes, a little humor when it helps. I help clients explore what’s underneath their stress, anxiety, trauma, or life transitions, while also building practical skills they can use outside the therapy room. My work emphasizes emotional regulation, insight, resilience, and strengthening the parts of each client that already work well. Therapy with me is collaborative, steady, and human; we figure things out together.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, steady, and collaborative space where we get to know each other and begin understanding what brings them in. I start by checking in about what they’re experiencing right now, what feels most important to talk about, and what they hope to get out of therapy. We’ll explore their history at a pace that feels comfortable, clarify goals together, and identify what support or strategies might be helpful moving forward.

I also explain what therapy looks like with me — my style, how sessions flow, and how we’ll work as a team. Clients can expect to feel heard, not judged, and not pressured to share more than they’re ready for. My goal in the first session is to build safety, establish a foundation of trust, and help clients leave feeling understood and hopeful about the path ahead.
