Great to meet you!

Over more than 30 years, I've helped people navigate some of life's most challenging moments—from workplace stress and burnout to anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and major life transitions.

I believe that periods of stress, anxiety, depression, and transition can also become opportunities for growth. My role is to help you identify what's most important to you, build on your strengths, and create a life that reflects your values and the person you want to be.

I earned my master's degree in Clinical Counseling from The Citadel and have worked in employee assistance, outpatient mental health, substance use treatment, and healthcare. Whether you're seeking support for stress, anxiety, depression, or a significant life change, I provide a warm, collaborative space where we can work together to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, practical, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based counseling—to create an approach that fits your goals and circumstances.

Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on the strengths you already possess, develop practical strategies, and make lifestyle changes that support your well-being. We'll also explore what matters most to you so that your choices become more aligned with your values.

I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable exploring challenges and gaining new perspectives. My goal is to help you move beyond simply feeling better to building a life that feels authentic, fulfilling, and aligned with your values.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong foundation for therapy. We'll talk about the concerns that brought you to counseling and complete a comprehensive assessment that explores your mental health, lifestyle, relationships, family, support system, career, spirituality, strengths, and any barriers that may be affecting your well-being.

Together, we'll identify your goals and develop a personalized treatment plan that reflects what's most important to you. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
