Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jenifer — a therapist who believes support doesn’t have to feel heavy or intimidating. I offer a warm, down-to-earth space where you can show up exactly as you are, breathe, and even laugh while doing the work. My style is collaborative, practical, and sprinkled with humor, because growth is easier when you feel comfortable and seen.

My approach to therapy

I believe that every person, no matter the obstacle, has the strength and inner resources to overcome adversity and move toward their goals. When we tend to our mental health and gently address the wounds we carry, we create the foundation for real and lasting change.

As Peter Levine reminds us, “Trauma is perhaps the most avoided, ignored, belittled, denied, misunderstood, and untreated cause of human suffering.” My passion is helping people feel safe enough to face what’s been holding them back and discover what’s possible on the other side.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where you don’t have to have everything figured out. We’ll talk about what’s been going on for you, what’s brought you to therapy, and what you’re hoping for. I’ll listen carefully, ask gentle questions, and together we’ll start to outline what you’d like to work on.

By the end of that first hour you’ll have a clearer sense of how therapy with me works, what support and tools might help you most, and (hopefully) you’ll leave feeling heard, understood, and a little lighter knowing you don’t have to navigate things alone.
