Great to meet you!

Hi - I'm Jenine - welcome to my practice! I am so glad you're here. I've been doing this work for over 11 years, and the thing that drives me every single day is helping people feel truly seen — not judged, not rushed, just heard. I work with women, moms, kids, teens, and families, and I bring a creative, affirming style to every session. As a Latina woman myself, I deeply understand how culture, family expectations, and identity shape the way we experience stress, anxiety, and relationships. Whether you're navigating a tough season of life or working through something that's weighed on you for years, you don't have to do it alone. I'd love to be part of your journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it's real and personalized — not a one-size-fits-all formula. I draw from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and I weave in strategies that are actually practical for your everyday life. For families and parents, I use techniques like Parent-Child Interaction Therapy to strengthen those bonds that matter most. My style is direct (I won't just nod and say "interesting") and also warm — I'll meet you where you are and help you build from there. Together, we'll figure out what works for you.

What you can expect from me

First sessions can feel a little nerve-wrecking — and that's completely normal. Think of it less as an intake and more as a conversation. I'll get to know you, hear what's been going on, and start understanding what you're hoping to get out of therapy. You won't be expected to have everything figured out or share more than you're ready to. My goal is simply for you to leave feeling a little lighter than when you arrived. If you're ready to take that first step, I'd love to connect — let's find a time that works for you.
