Great to meet you!

I’m Jenn, a Black, queer, nonbinary therapist passionate about helping people navigate life’s transitions. Through my practice, Gloom and Bloom, I support clients moving through grief in all its forms. From death related loss to breakups, identity shifts, burnout, birth, becoming, and the many versions of ourselves we leave behind along the way.

My approach to therapy

My work is rooted in somatic care, narrative therapy, community, and the belief that healing isn't a destination, it's a journey. I’m especially passionate about creating affirming spaces for queer and BIPOC clients to feel witnessed in both their pain and joy. My approach is calm, collaborative, and I use humor because sometimes we just need to laugh through grief and change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust. I'll ask a ton of questions about what brings you to therapy, your strengths, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We'll discuss important aspects of your life, relationships, and personal history that may help me better understand your experiences. Most importantly, you can expect a space where you can show up as you are. You'll never need to have the "right" words for what you're feeling.
