Great to meet you!

Whether you're navigating current life stressors, experiencing anxiety or depression, or wanting to better understand patterns in your relationships, therapy can be a space for meaningful reflection and growth. I take a collaborative and integrative approach, working with you to explore life transitions, relationship dynamics, and attachment patterns while building tools to support daily functioning. I strive to offer a warm, affirming, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore, heal, and grow at their own pace. I am currently welcoming new clients.

As a licensed clinical psychologist, I believe prioritizing mental health is an important part of building a fulfilling and balanced life. I received my clinical training in Southern California and have been practicing the past 2 years in Texas. I specialize in working with individuals navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, immigration and attachment concerns, while also integrating cultural context into the therapeutic process. I also work with client experiencing anxiety and depression, helping them better understand their symptoms and how these experiences may be impacting their current daily living. I know that seeking support can be one of the hardest steps, and I strive to create a warm, collaborative space where you feel comfortable, understood and supported as we work together toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, meaning I draw from several evidence-based perspectives to best support your needs and goals. I incorporate elements of psychodynamic, feminist-multicultural, narrative, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy approaches, allowing us to explore both present challenges and the deeper patterns or experiences that may have shaped them. Narrative work is an important part of my practice, as it invites us to examine the stories you hold about yourself and your experiences, and to consider how these stories may be reshaped in ways that feel more empowering and aligned with your values. Together, we will collaborate to build insight, develop coping strategies, and create meaningful change that supports your well-being.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll spend time exploring what has brought you to therapy. You'll have space to share your story, including current concerns, symptoms, or challenges you've been experiencing. We'll also talk about what you hope to gain from therapy and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. I take a collaborative approach and strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable being vulnerable while also feeling supported. From there, we'll work together in future sessions toward the goals that matter most to you.
