Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jenn. I’m a psychotherapist with an MA in Counseling from NYU and a former background in tech recruiting. As a therapist, I help clients navigate low self-esteem, negative self-talk, and a desire to live authentically. Many of my clients are going through life transitions and external stressors who crave a space to explore their feelings, thoughts, and decisions non-judgmentally. Together, we will develop a compassionate understanding of yourself and a path forward that feels true to who you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytical Therapy with the integration of Narrative, IFS, and EMDR. I specialize in resolving internal conflicts by building greater awareness of clients' true selves. It's a collaborative process, where we'll explore unconscious needs, unresolved issues, and defense mechanisms that hinder internal peace. I will do more than make you feel validated; I also like to find another perspective and create ways to explore deeper into what's really going on. My hope is that clients leave sessions with a clearer and stronger sense of self.

What you can expect from me

After the initial consultation, our first session (Intake) will go over your background and history. Together, we'll create an idea of what successful therapy will look like for you. Overall, I strive to have a collaborative, peer-to-peer relationship with my clients where the relationship is built on trust, respect, and safety. In the first few sessions, fostering this foundation is the most important part on my end.
