Great to meet you!

I have a deep desire to help others and have found personal fulfillment in the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals, couples, and families. Before graduating with Summa Cum Laude Honors with my Master of Arts degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Amridge University, I attended the Master of Arts program in Counseling Psychology at Simpson University. I am a California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists board member for the Northern California board of therapists, a Certified Master Life Coach, & a trained Gottman Couples Therapist.

My client focus includes a range from individuals seeking personal growth to couples navigating marital issues and families dealing with communication breakdowns. I utilize a variety of empirically supported therapeutic modalities that allow me to offer appropriate and effective solutions to my client's specific needs.

My approach to therapy

I am a collaborative and strength-based therapist who believes everyone deserves a safe place to navigate their issues. I employ a distinctive approach to providing care through empowering individuals, couples, and families to develop, heal, and nurture meaningful relationships while achieving lasting solutions to mental, behavioral, and emotional challenges. I help clients reach their goals by collaborating with them to identify, define, and work towards specific, achievable objectives. I provide a supportive and structured environment for clients to explore their needs, develop coping mechanisms, and ultimately, achieve desired outcomes.

What you can expect from me

Our first therapy session is primarily about me getting to know you and you getting to know me. You can expect to answer questions about your background, current struggles, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. It's also an opportunity for you to assess if the therapist is a good fit for you. Deciding to start therapy can feel overwhelming and exhilarating at the same time. As your therapist, I will teach you how to resolve conflict, create boundaries, emotionally regulate, communicate effectively, practice healthy behaviors, increase intimacy, and overcome life’s hardships.
