Great to meet you!

Hello! Marriage and Family Therapists look at the obstacles of each individual as part of the greater context of relationships with intimate partners, family, colleagues, community, culture, and environment. I have worked with all ages in a wide variety of issues, including family dynamics, relationships, anxiety, stress, mood disorders, substance abuse, self‐harming behaviors, sexuality and gender, grief and loss, managing professional and creative concerns, and personal empowerment.

My approach to therapy

My approach to psychotherapy treatment and personal transformation is empathetic and holistic, focusing on you as a unique, complex, dynamic individual. I am here to facilitate your process of healing, growth, and transformation, as your committed listener, your mirror, your partner in the process. We may address your health history, life stressors, belief systems and attitudes, your family and childhood history, diet, exercise, dreams, longings, and how you are in relationships.

What you can expect from me

Our work together may include coaching, education, homework, meditative practices or breath work, movement, art therapy, and frank communication. I will meet you with compassion, empathy, warmth, and commitment. At times I will challenge your perceptions and assumptions, and offer different perspectives, as a way to increase the many wonderful benefits of therapy. Therapy is a valuable tool in making positive changes, and I am excited to be on this journey with you!
