Great to meet you!

I’m Jenna Emmons, a licensed therapist in Pennsylvania. I have more than 9 years of experience working in the mental health field, providing support and guidance for teens and adults from diverse backgrounds who experience challenges with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and grief. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply trying to make sense of life’s challenges, I offer a warm and supportive space to help you move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness Techniques - I take strengths-based and client-centered approach to meet your unique needs and goals. I focus on skills such as emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance, helping you navigate challenging emotions, build stronger relationships, and increase resiliency to cope with life’s stressors. I believe that therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I strive to create a collaborative and compassionate environment where you can feel safe, heard, and empowered.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to work collaboratively to identify changes you would like to see within your life and yourself. In our first session, I always begin with a check-in to understand what brings you to therapy, what's been going well, and any challenges you are facing. We will talk about your goals and expectations, and what a successful therapy experience looks like for you. I'll also explain my approach to treatment and answer any questions you have and how I can support you.

Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you’re returning to it, I’m here to walk alongside you with warmth, understanding, and evidence-based practices for real-life change.
