Great to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health counselor who is passionate about helping women heal from childhood and adult trauma. I also work with children through play therapy and support parents in understanding their own and their child’s nervous system to foster connection.

In sessions, I integrate experiential exercises, breathing techniques, and EMDR to help clients connect to themselves, stay grounded during stress, and gently face painful feelings. I aim to meet people where they are, providing stepping stones toward deeper self-understanding and meaningful life changes. I can be direct yet warm, creating a space where clients feel safe to explore and grow.

When I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me playing with my two toddlers, working out, or diving into the latest health hacks. Therapy is my passion, and I feel honored to walk alongside others as they build the life they want to live.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational, warm, and trauma-informed. I use a combination of experiential exercises, breathing techniques, and EMDR to help clients connect with themselves, stay grounded during stress, and gently face parts of themselves they may have disconnected from. I meet clients where they are, providing small, manageable steps toward deeper self-understanding and meaningful life changes. While I can be direct when needed, I create a safe, supportive space for exploration and growth.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, I would like to gather information about you to have some context for what you want to focus on while in therapy. I also would to go over things that I do such as breathing exercises and experiential exercises you can expect to see throughout therapy depending on your specific needs. I would like to hear what has worked for you and not worked for you in the past if you've done therapy before. One of the main things I like to do is explore goals and where you'd like to be in a few months after participating in therapy.
