Great to meet you!

I have more than 17 years of experience in the behavioral health field, serving in a range of clinical and leadership roles, from entry-level positions to executive leadership. Over the years, I have continually invested in advancing my education and expanding my knowledge in behavioral health because I believe effective therapy requires both experience and lifelong learning.

I have worked with a diverse population of children, adolescents, and adults from a wide range of cultural, social, and professional backgrounds. I am especially passionate about supporting high achievers, healthcare professionals, first responders, counselors, and other helping professionals who may be experiencing burnout, chronic stress, perfectionism, or compassion fatigue. My research as a doctoral candidate focuses on burnout and compassion fatigue among helping professionals, which deeply informs my clinical work.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is open, energetic, collaborative, and engaging. I believe therapy works best as a genuine partnership where clients feel heard, supported, and actively involved in their own growth. I draw from evidence-based approaches tailored to each person’s needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). As a DBT-certified clinician, I also integrate skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness.

At the core of my work is a commitment to helping clients build insight, develop practical tools, and create meaningful, sustainable change in their lives.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We will talk about your current concerns, your personal history, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. I also encourage you to ask questions so you can get a sense of whether I am the right fit for you.

Together, we will begin identifying goals and discussing what therapy might look like moving forward. My intention is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin; we will work through it together, one step at a time.

Free Phone Consultations Available with myself or one of our providers. Please expect to be called within 3 days of you booking a phone consultation.
