Great to meet you!

I am a psychologist who works well with adults facing life transitions such as parenting, changes in relationships, career shifts, crises of faith, or loss of a loved one. My doctoral research on self-sabotaging dynamics has informed my clinical approach to addressing patterns of "stuckness."

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational, collaborative, somatically-informed, and strengths-based. Together, we'll explore patterns that keep you stuck, while drawing on and expanding existing strengths in order to increase self-awareness, emotional regulation, and self-efficacy. Rather than simply reducing symptoms, my approach to therapy strengthens your connection to yourself and gives you the tools to create a meaningful and fulfilling life. My hope is that you leave therapy not only feeling better, but better able to meet future challenges with confidence and courage.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will discuss the process of therapy, the issues you would like to address, your hoped for outcomes, and what you might expect from our work together. Through creating a safe, welcoming environment where you feel seen and heard, before creating a plan to help you both feel and function better.
