Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I bring a blend of warmth, curiosity, and professionalism to the therapeutic space.

At the core of my work is a deep respect for the resilience and complexity of each individual I meet. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, working through trauma, or just trying to feel more like yourself again, I strive to create a space that feels collaborative, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. Therapy with me is both practical and deeply relational—we’ll focus on building insight, developing skills, and honoring your unique process along the way.

Outside of therapy, I’m someone who values connection, community, and nature. When I’m not working, you can usually find me hiking Colorado’s trails with my German Shepherd, Paladin (Pal), who reminds me to slow down and appreciate the moment. I believe in laughter, honest conversations, and the power of small, meaningful steps toward change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, collaborative, and person-centered. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring interventions to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. I believe in fostering a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors at their own pace.

With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and systems thinking, I consider the whole person—including their cultural, social, and environmental context. My experience spans inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, working with diverse populations across the lifespan. Whether providing individual, group, or family therapy, I aim to empower clients through psychoeducation, skill-building, and compassionate support.

Above all, I value authenticity, connection, and collaboration. Therapy with me is a shared process where we work together to identify strengths, overcome challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. My style is collaborative and active—I don’t just sit back and listen, but engage with you to help make sense of your experiences, identify patterns, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

Drawing on training in CBT and DBT, I integrate evidence-based strategies that support emotional regulation, healthy coping, and improved interpersonal relationships. I also bring a trauma-informed perspective and a systems lens, which means I consider the broader context of your life—relationships, culture, environment—when exploring what’s working and what’s not.

Whether we’re exploring your emotions, learning new skills, or unpacking past experiences, my goal is for you to leave each session feeling more grounded, more empowered, and more connected to your values and strengths. You can also expect a safe, nonjudgmental space where your full self is welcome—messy parts and all.

Ultimately, my hope is that therapy with me helps you build insight, deepen self-trust, and take actionable steps toward the life you want to create.
