Great to meet you!

My name is Jenna Pluard and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I have several years of experience in assisting individuals of all ages in navigating complex trauma, neurodivergence, personality disorders, anxiety, depression, self-identity conflicts, and more.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is eclectic and creative, focusing on individuals strengths and interests to deepen self-discovery and growth. Treatment modalities I specialize in include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Expressive and Play Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy as I believe therapy like many things in life is not a “one-size-fits-all".

What you can expect from me

My mission is to meet individuals with compassion and offer them a supportive and comfortable space where they can feel heard, understood, respected, and most importantly safe. I strive to maintain a practice that is inclusive and affirmative to all.

In your first session you can expect to engage in an open conversation about what brings you to therapy, what goals you may be pondering, and what can be expected as we move forward. You may already have an idea of how you could respond to some or all of these topics, but there is no expectation to enter the space knowing these, we can work through this together.

Through this ongoing journey you can expect to better understand yourself, the parts that make you who you are, gain education on how your mind works, and access supportive tools to share your story, to heal, and to become the version of yourself you’re striving to be.
