Great to meet you!

My passion for working with trauma survivors is deeply personal and rooted in my own experiences. Having navigated my own journey of healing and growth, I understand how difficult it can be to move through painful experiences and find a sense of safety, connection, and hope again.

These experiences have shaped the way I support my clients with compassion, empathy, and without judgment. I believe healing is a deeply personal process, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward at their own pace.

I have experience supporting children, teens, and adults who have experienced trauma and adversity. I truly believe healing trauma is not just about changing how you think, it is about helping your nervous system feel safe again. I utilize the framework of Polyvagal Theory to understand your unique nervous system and ensure your body feels safe throughout the healing process. I also have training in other therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic therapy, and parts-informed approaches.

My approach to therapy

My highest priority is building a safe and collaborative space that tailors therapy to best support your specific needs, strengths, and goals. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and support. Therapy is a collaborative process, and my role is to offer tools, perspectives, and a safe space where you can process your experiences at your own pace. Together, we can build on your strengths, navigate life’s challenges, and work toward the changes that feel meaningful to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, for you to share your story in whatever way feels comfortable, and for us to begin understanding what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to work toward. When we first meet, my priority is creating a space where you feel safe, welcomed, and comfortable being yourself. I believe that a trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful therapy, and I want you to feel heard, respected, and supported throughout our work together.

You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. We can take our time, make space for your questions, and find a pace and approach that feels right for you.
