Great to meet you!

I am a dually licensed psychotherapist and the owner of Grace and Mercy Counseling, LLC, where I provide psychological assessments and therapy to individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges. I obtained my Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University in 2012, and since then, I have supported hundreds of clients in overcoming psychiatric disorders.

My approach to therapy

  • Active Listening: I focus on truly hearing and understanding what you're saying.
  • Non-judgmental Support: I create a safe, accepting space for you to share your thoughts and feelings.
  • Empathy and Compassion: I offer understanding and acknowledgment of your emotions, even if I don't experience them myself.
  • Solution-oriented: I provide suggestions and ideas that could help address challenges you're facing.
  • Encouragement of Reflection: I ask open-ended questions to help you explore your thoughts and gain clarity.
  • Providing Resources: I may suggest seeking professional therapy or other resources if needed for more specialized support.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive and insightful experience that helps them gain clarity, develop new perspectives, and build practical strategies for personal growth. Through meaningful conversations, they will enhance their self-awareness, improve problem-solving skills, and gain a deeper understanding of their emotions and behaviors. Each session is tailored to their unique needs, fostering a nonjudgmental space where they can explore challenges and identify strengths. Whether they seek guidance, coping strategies, or motivation for change, they will leave sessions feeling heard, empowered, and equipped with actionable steps to move forward.
