Great to meet you!

Hello there!

You may know something feels off, heavy, or hard to carry, but have a difficult time explaining exactly what it is. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma history, and emotional overwhelm, especially when stress shows up as racing thoughts, irritability, low motivation, decision paralysis, or a constant sense of pressure in the body.

I’m trained in expressive arts therapy and art therapy methods, and I offer a space where you can explore what you are feeling in ways that go beyond talking alone.

I am a licensed professional counselor and registered art therapist with experience with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families.

When I'm not providing services through my private practice or at the school I work for, I love to draw/paint/write, watch movies, spend time with my child, and read a really good book. I really enjoy nature and being outside - I sometimes have delusions that I can keep plants alive, so I dabble in gardening too.

My approach to therapy

My approach is creative, grounded, and supportive. We will adjust as we unpack your goals and experiences.

I use many tools. For example, we could lean into art therapy and expressive methods to help clients process what they are feeling, regulate emotions, and better understand patterns that may be affecting daily life, relationships, and self-esteem.

You do not need to be “good at art” for this to be useful. The goal is not to create something perfect. It is to give shape to experiences that may be hard to name, so we can work with them more clearly and move toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, the focus is on bridging the gap between your history and your future. In our first session, we’ll talk through what has been feeling hardest lately, what you have been carrying, and what you want to feel differently. We’ll start identifying the emotions, stressors, or patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, grief, or overwhelm.

As we move forward, you can expect a supportive and collaborative space where we begin building a clearer picture of what is going on internally and what healing could look like for you. My goal is for the first session to feel grounded, useful, and like a real first step forward.
