Great to meet you!

For over 17 years, my career has been helping others. I transitioned through different positions including life skills instructor, recovery coach, case manager, and care coordinator. After about a decade, I decided to return to school for my MSW. I started working as a therapist upon graduation and went on to become an LCSW. As a therapist, I have been working to help children and adults overcome issues with anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I have been trained in various evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, problem solving therapy (PST), interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).

My approach to therapy

Issues with trauma, anxiety, depression, and more can impact EVERY aspect of our lives. I am passionate about helping people lessen that negative impact. I'm skilled at meeting people where they're at emotionally and providing a comfortable and social atmosphere to explore issues.

What you can expect from me

Our work will strike the balance between focusing on underlying contributors that brought you to therapy along with finding practical ways to improve your mood and situation in the here and now. Together we will create an environment particularly suited to your healing.
