I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Phoenix (LCSW). I am originally from the Midwest and graduated from Indiana University with a Post Baccalaureate degree in substance abuse counseling and a Master's degree in social work. I have over 15 years of experience in the mental health field such as: addictions, grief and loss, couples/ family counseling, anxiety, depression and trauma related stressors. As a therapist I am committed to working with a diverse population and have had experience in various settings. I am passionate about working with individuals and their families as they encounter life changes and transitions as am I committed to working with both brief and long term therapy to overcome life stressors that can affect all of us at certain times in our lives.

As a therapist, I provide psychotherapy by utilizing an integrative and holistic approach with clients in the healing process. I draw from a variety of methods as I assist people in being able to identify their issues and reach their treatment goals.

I specialize in approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, along with teaching dialectical behavioral skills, and mindfulness approaches.

Although I will always have a special place in my heart for the Midwest, I now call Arizona and Texas home. My passion in life is my family. I have three grown children, two puppies, a hubby, and last but not least a 2 new grandbaby!! . In addition, I love yoga for exercise, walks for beauty, books for knowledge and coffee shops!!

My approach to therapy

I am committed to working with both brief and long-term therapy models, utilizing specialized modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), alongside the teaching of dialectical behavioral skills and mindfulness approaches. This diverse skill set allows me to assist individuals and their families in identifying issues and achieving their treatment goals, particularly when navigating significant life changes and transitions.
