Great to meet you!

Growing up, I learned to internalize my pain and carry my struggles on my own. I didn’t always know how to ask for help, lean on others, or make space for what I was feeling. Instead, I often pushed through and focused on taking care of everyone else. Those experiences helped me understand how exhausting it can be to feel as though you always have to hold everything together.

I am a first-generation Ghanaian-American Christian woman. I work with clients navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, attachment wounds, life transitions, and seasons of uncertainty. I am especially passionate about supporting people who feel pressured to have it all together and are ready to slow down, better understand themselves, and make room for their own needs.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and growth-oriented. Together, we will explore how your relationships, family experiences, cultural experiences, and beliefs about yourself may be shaping the way you move through the world. Our work will be guided by your individual needs, values, and goals as we identify unhealthy patterns and begin developing healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

What you can expect from me

Therapy can help you gain a clearer understanding of yourself, recognize patterns that are no longer serving you, and respond to life and relationships in healthier, more intentional ways. My hope is that you leave our sessions feeling seen and supported while also becoming more grounded, confident, and empowered to create meaningful change in your life.
