Great to meet you!

Hello! My background has been in community mental health practice—working with a broad range of life situations and issues people face. During that time, I worked with individuals, children/teens, couples, and families. I taught a values-based parenting class for several years, helping parents to strengthen their skills. Now that I have my own practice, I love working with women from all walks of life and with teens and children.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy getting to know clients- what brings them to therapy, exploring their backgrounds, and the factors that shape them. I highlight their strengths and weaknesses and work collaboratively with clients to reach their goals. I often incorporate art, sandtray therapy, and other creative interventions that fit the client's needs.

What you can expect from me

I have a warm and welcoming environment for clients from our first session onward. Clients have told me that they appreciate the non-judgmental space I create for them to open up and explore where they may be struggling. During our first session, I seek to understand you as a whole person- getting to know you in the context of your family, environment, and the world you live in.
