Great to meet you!

Dr. Arias is clinical psychologist who helps busy professionals and women move from anxiety & overwhelm into a more joyful, fulfilling life. She supports women & BIPOC in healing anxiety & burnout, reconnecting with their bodies, releasing trauma, and learning to know & trust their inner voice so they can feel aligned, grounded, and secure again.

Life can feel better and you don't have to figure it out alone- if you are ready, Dr.Arias is here to help.

My approach to therapy

My therapy approach is grounded in the belief that healing happens when we address both the mind and the body- the present and the past. Many of the clients I work with, often high-achievers, problem solvers, many of them women or eldest children-have spent years carrying the weight of family expectations, cultural pressures, grief, trauma, and the responsibility of caring for others while neglecting themselves. Over time, these experiences can show up as anxiety, burnout, people-pleasing, self-doubt, relationship struggles, or a persistent feeling of being stuck.

I take a trauma-informed, relational, and culturally responsive approach that helps clients understand not only what happened to them, but how those experiences continue to live in their bodies, relationships, and daily lives. Together, we explore the lessons and survival strategies that once helped you get through difficult experiences, while identifying which patterns may no longer serve you today.

My work integrates insight with practical tools to calm the nervous system, process grief and trauma, and reconnect with your authentic self. I help clients learn to listen to their bodies, develop self-compassion, build healthier boundaries, and create new ways of responding to stress and anxiety. Whether you are navigating the loss of a loved one, grieving a version of yourself, healing from family wounds, or recovering from years of over-functioning, therapy becomes a space to release what you have been carrying and make room for something new.

At its core, my approach is about helping you move beyond survival. Healing is not about becoming a different person—it is about reconnecting with who you are underneath the anxiety, grief, and pain, so you can create a life that feels more grounded, connected, and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

Working with me means having a warm, collaborative space to understand your story and create real, lasting change.

In our intake, we explore what brought you to this point, your history, and what you need to be different. I work best with people who are ready for change-those who give everything, yet still feel like it is never enough. Together, we look at the roots of your patterns, unlearn what no longer serves you, and build ways of living that truly fit who you are. My clients often feel more grounded, seen, and connected to a sense of goodness and their bodies. They discover that life doesn’t have to be so hard—and eventually, that truth becomes something they don’t just think, but truly feel. This is my favorite part of the work.
