Great to meet you!

As a licensed mental health counselor, I believe therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and empowering. Taking the step to seek help, whether for yourself or your child can feel overwhelming, and I’m glad you’re here. I earned my Master’s degree from New York University (Steinhardt) with a concentration in Mental Health & Wellness and have experience working in outpatient, residential, psychiatric, and private practice settings.

For the past five years, I have worked in private practice, primarily supporting children, adolescents, and young adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, and related concerns. I also support families as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. My work is grounded in the belief that understanding both the mind and body is key to meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I take an integrative, individualized approach to treatment, recognizing that each client’s experience is unique. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll work together to identify goals that feel realistic and meaningful. I value open communication and strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported.

I incorporate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness strategies. When appropriate, I use ERP to help clients gradually face fears, reduce avoidance, and build confidence in managing anxiety and OCD symptoms. Drawing from my own yoga and meditation practice, I also help clients build awareness of the connection between physical and emotional symptoms.

What you can expect from me

Our work together will begin with an initial session focused on understanding your concerns, strengths, and goals for therapy. I aim to create a warm, safe environment where clients feel comfortable being open and vulnerable. From there, we’ll continue building practical coping skills, emotional insight, and confidence to help you or your child navigate challenges and move toward greater balance and well-being.
