Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Jennifer! I'm glad you're here. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and as a second-generation Asian American, I understand the cultural and generational dynamics that come with family life - it's close to my heart. I work with individual adults to help them feel more connected, more confident, and less overwhelmed by life's ups and downs.

So much of our wellbeing comes down to the relationship we have with ourselves and others, and I specialize in helping people build ones that feel more meaningful and congruent. I've spent over a decade in this work, and what stays the same is that I show up as myself — and I want you to feel safe doing the same.

Starting therapy can feel daunting, so I'm proud of you for being here. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, understood, and a bit more balanced than when you walked in.

My approach to therapy

I've spent years working with kids, families, and adults, and I've seen up close how relationships shape us - and how trauma can quietly touch every part of life. I draw on advanced training in CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, and child-centered approaches, but I always tailor it to you - there's no one-size-fits-all here.

What matters most to me is creating a space where the things that feel "too hard" to say out loud finally have somewhere to go. I lead with warmth, curiosity, and a lot of compassion, and I follow your lead - trusting that you know yourself best. My hope is that you leave feeling truly seen, understood, and ready to create real, lasting change in your life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my focus is on really listening and helping you feel safe, seen, and understood. From the very first conversation, I want therapy to feel like your space - a place where your thoughts, feelings, and goals come first.

We'll talk about what brings you here, what matters most to you, what makes who you are, and what you're hoping to get out of this. There's no pressure to have it all figured out - just come as you are. My goal is to support you in a way that feels real and empowering, so together we can start moving toward the changes you want to see. Because at the end of the day, this is truly YOUR space.
