Jennifer Boyd

Hey there! I am Jenn, a LPC providing tele-health services for clients residing in Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. I am certified in EMDR and have extensive experience providing trauma therapy. I am also trained in DBT therapy. I began my career in 2011 and have worked in many mental health settings including inpatient facilities, long term care, crisis care, community mental health, group private practice and now running my own private practice. I use an eclectic approach to therapy meaning I often incorporate various therapeutic theories based on your strengths, goals, and needs. I am taking new clients and I hope to speak to you soon about starting your therapeutic journey soon!

I apply an eclectic style of therapy, involving a multi-theory approach to therapy based on putting my client’s symptoms, needs and goals. I love to collaborate with clients to create a treatment plan that corresponds with their personal goals. I integrate cognitive behavioral, person centered, solution focused, and DBT theories often. I am a certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist through the EMDRIA organization.

My goal is to create a safe therapeutic environment to help my client’s work towards their personal goals. I believe in meeting people where they are, exploring personal goals for growth, and providing support along the way. I enjoy working with clients to address depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, and women’s health issues including pregnancy, infertility, postpartum depression, etc.
