Great to meet you!

I work with individuals of all ages, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, parenting challenges, divorce, relationship concerns, substance use and recovery, military transitions, and narcissistic abuse recovery. I also have experience supporting veterans, divorced parents, survivors of abuse, and children and adolescents.

My journey into mental healthcare was deeply influenced by the sudden loss of my sister, who left behind five children. Experiencing the ripple effects of grief and witnessing the strength it takes to navigate profound loss shaped my passion for helping others through difficult seasons of life.

I strive to create a compassionate, judgment-free environment where you feel heard, valued, and understood. I believe therapy should meet you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be.

My approach to therapy

My approach is eclectic and individualized, meaning I draw from different evidence-based therapies based on your needs, strengths, and goals rather than using the same approach with every client.

I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to strengthen emotional regulation, mindfulness, and coping skills, Person-Centered Therapy to provide a supportive and compassionate environment, and Solution-Focused Therapy to identify strengths, develop practical strategies, and create meaningful change.

Together, we'll establish realistic and achievable goals that align with what matters most to you. I believe therapy should provide both a safe place to process your experiences and practical tools you can use outside of sessions. We'll work at a pace that feels appropriate while building on your strengths and helping you create lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. My priority is creating a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can share your story without feeling pressured to disclose more than you're ready to discuss.

We'll talk about the challenges you're currently experiencing, what you would like to change, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We'll begin identifying goals and discussing the type of support and therapeutic approach that may work best for you.

You'll also have an opportunity to ask questions and get a sense of whether I am the right therapist for you. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, respected, supported, and with a clearer understanding of how we can move forward together.
