Jennifer Bruno

Jennifer graduated with her Master's Degree in Social Work in 2012. She obtained her professional license in 2017. Jennifer has a wide range of knowledge and skills. In the past, she has worked with with individuals, couples, groups and families. Jennifer has experience with mental health, substance abuse/dependency, immigration, loss/grief, co parenting, marriage issues and assisting those who struggle with adjusting/adapting to a multitude of life changing events.

By utilizing various types of treatment modalities, Jennifer has been successful in assisting clients of all ages and backgrounds in achieving their personal goals. This therapist has been able to teach client's how to use effectively identify their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Jennifer applies evidenced based practices that result in decreasing mental health symptoms, change in impulsive/undesired behaviors and improved quality of life.

Jennifer believes in the importance of connection throughout the therapeutic relationship. In order to create this, Jennifer uses a warm welcome, a non judgement attitude, active listening, validation, empathy and an atmosphere where clients can feel comfortable and safe to be themselves. By the end of each visit, the goal is for the person to leave feeling more empowered, positive, hopeful and in control of themselves and their future despite the current stressors and/or situation.
